Short Description for QuantumFor most people, quantum theory is a byword for mysterious, impenetrable science. And yet for many years it was equally baffling for scientists themselves. This work presents the history of this fundamental scientific revolution. It focuses on the conflict between Einstein and Bohr over the nature of reality and the soul of science.

Truly inspiring book
This book is truly inspiring and very, very well written. Scientific theories are presented clearly. The pace rivals good thrillers. Thanks this book I finally understood basics of the quantum concepts that unsuccesfully were presented to me during my school days. The author made realy good job in explaining basics fo the quantum theory through the prism of its historical and often turbulent development. by Pawel
