Warriors of the Sky- A Must Read!
Warriors of the Sky by Mahmoud Saeed is one of the most captivating short stories I have ever read. The story was published in Freedom: Short Stories Celebrating the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. In the Story, Saeed paints a portrait of Muhammad, a leader of a group of Iraqis calling for political reform. The author is very detailed and descriptive in his portrayal of this family. The story- though concise- is gripping from the beginning and powerful through the end. A must read-- especially at this time of political instability in the Middle East. by Wasila Diab
