Couldn't put it down!
I loved this book. It is a tale of adventure, thrill, horror, romance and more. The story is not predictable like so many adventure tales are and kept me hooked all of the way through. I have now read the whole trilogy and totally loved it. by Rachel Brown

Great :)
This book; though you have to try not to get too greatly disturbed by the "whole idea" (-the fact that young kids are being put into an arena to fight for the death), is a great book. It is the kind of book, that though quite simply written, captivates the essence of the world and the charcters around it.
It is truly the type of book you cannot put down and once you're finished - you rush to buy the next book! by Christine -

You had me at page one!
This book is AMAZING, and with glowing reviews from Stephanie Meyer and Stephen King it is hard to not take notice. THE HUNGER GAMES is teenage fiction at its best, tackling issues that are important for teenage fiction, themes that make it more than just a story; it's a subtle comment on the world...without the preaching. Get swept up in this absorbing story that will have you from page one. The writing style is consistent and honest and while the topic of teenagers being pitted against one another in a fight to the death scenario had my eyebrows initially raised, it really came through and destroyed any doubts I had. I would class this as a stunning piece of crossover fiction: books that both teens and adults can enjoy and be totally move by. I know I was. by Sarah Gray

Hungry for the hunger games!
This book is the most amazing book! It is captivating right from the start. This girl, Katniss, ends up going to 'The Hunger Games' where she must fight for her life. This book is very well written and I loved every bit of it. It's a must read for 12+ for Boys and Girls.
It is also a good family read! by Daisy Archibald -

A Deadly Read
This book blew me away. It was one of those stories that you couldn't put down. The characters were created so well that they didn't seem artificial in the slightest. Each character reacted in their own unique way to the difficulties placed upon them, but none of them seemed dishonest. While I thought this story would be too brutal for me, it was written so frighteningly well that I couldn't avoid reading it.
The romantic presence in the book is also really well written. It isn't some amazing and tragic love story, but a REAL, honest love - including complications, trust issues, and confusion of feelings. This is definitely a young adult book that isn't just for young adults, but adults of the older persuasion as well. by Bethwyn
