  • Fantasmically Amazeballs5

Jessica Maxwell The title says it all. Theres so much you learn. It's like learning something you love for the first time, you reap so many rewards and the satisfaction that comes from finishing it, is indescribable. Yes, it will take you a little bit to get into it, but hang in there!! Trust me, it gets A LOT better! by Jessica Maxwell

  • A simple idea turned into an addicting story4

Christina I read this book a couple of years ago, thinking that it was pretty mediocre, but I thought I should give it another shot...

I am so happy that I did, because I loved it second time round. During the first reading, I think I was too occupied and focused on the stories of the different planets and souls, trying to make sense of it, rather than be engrossed in the battle between Melanie and Wanda's survival.
So then after re-reading it I understood the stories of the other universes as well as being completely addicted to the love triangle between Jared, Ian and Wanda.
So I shall move my rating from 3 to 4 stars :) by Christina

  • Brilliant!!5

Lauren I read some of the reviews above before I read this book, and some made me have doubts. But I gotta say I found it so easy to get through this book. The first 100 pages were just as interesting as the rest of the book. I read it in 3 days and could not put it down. I hope there is a follow on because I would love to see what happens next. Brilliant book. Recommend it to anyone who loves fantasy or sci fi. Amazing! by Lauren

    Love it!5

Roksana Maharaj Yes the 100 pages is really hard on the reader as it introduces the story, people involved and the science behind it all....and I nearly gave up! However once you get over the 100 pages it is simply awesome! You forget the hardship of those 100 pages. The second time you read it, you won't even notice the 100 pages again because the story is fast paced, full of emotions we can all relate to....and you can't help but love all the characters. I am hoping that Steph M will write a book 2 of this series because the end of this book was left open ended. I think Steph M is very talented, can't wait to read more of her creations. READ THIS you won't be disappointed. by Roksana Maharaj

  • Kept me on the Edge!4

R.D-Diaz Overall I enjoyed reading this book it made me sad, smile and excited. It has everything you want from a book. I'm not really a sci-fi fanatic but I appreciate how the author explained and described it. This is way different from her Twilight Saga books. Although there's no team Edward or team Jacob in this book. In her we have another love triangle between Ian, Melanie and Jared but with a twist in the end. by R.D-Diaz

  • I loved this book4

Nyjole Walters After reading the first four pages of this book I was quite doubtful if I wanted to continued. I did persevere and found it to be irresistible and entertaining.....I finished this book within two days. I can't wait for the next installment of 'The Host' saga to appear in the bookstores. by Nyjole Walters

  • Hmmm bored2

Estelle d'Oliveira I really wanted to read this as I enjoyed Twilight so much, but have to say that so far I am dissapointed. I read all 4 Twilight books in less than a week and I have been sitting with The host for almost 2 weeks and have not even finished the first 100 pages. I have promised my self that I am not aloud my other book till I have finished it so if it turns out better I will update my review.
For the moment I do not like the Host as it has not gripped me from the start there is nothing that pulls me in. The first 100 pages is about the invading soul and it's host and that is it. She does nothing but complane. by Estelle d'Oliveira

  • I recommend this book.5

Kenza When I first read this book, I thought it was a bit childish, but as I read on I started to get comfortable with it. Stephanie Meyer is so talented and she has a great imagination that I think she can write anything, besides vampire novels. If you enjoy sci-fi I recommend reading it. by Kenza
