Not Bad
Probably one of my least favourite of the books - Good, but lacked the 'oomph' of the others.
Still worth a read though. I understand the need to include the Mhurder, but was a little long winded & off.
Still a big fan though.

Hmmm So So
I am a big fan of the BDB series and was disappointed with this installment!
JM & Xhex have had a big write up in the previous two books, so I was looking forward to reading LM, but the more I read the book the angrier I got.
The scenes with Mhurder were pointless - what a waste of paper!!! The Qhuinn and Blay scenes were completely dull and not up to the usual JR Ward standard.
Although I did like the scenes with JM and Xhex after her capture by Lash they seem to progress rather rapidly, when any normal character would be traumatised, Xhex was fine and mated thereafter?
The story lacked a strong narative and needed editing all the way along and at 653pages!! was far too long by Hannah Milbourn
