Short Description for Glass HousesCollege freshman Claire Danvers has had enough of her nightmarish dorm situation, where the popular girls never let her forget just where she ranks in the school's social scene: somewhere less than zero. When Claire heads off-campus, the imposing old house where she finds a room may not be much better.

  • Absolutely awesome start to the series!5

Bambi van Koll I saw an advertisement for this series and had to find out more. I read the first chapter online and was hooked. I had to keep reading. This series is awesome! Really loved the twist in this book and the imagination of Rachel Caine (author). by Bambi van Koll

Penny Cunningham Glass houses by Rachel Caine really wasn't my cup of tea I'm afraid, a story about a town run by Vampires! I do like si-fi and fantasy but I did not feel this was particularly well written. Its seemed a bit "churned out" perhaps if you are an avid reader of this type of book you would enjoy it, I didn't, sorry! The "vampires" run a town called Morganville and eveyone has to have "protection to live there without being bitten! A girl called Claire comes into town to study and stumbles across the town bully and the fact that the "vampires" are searching for a special book. The Glass house is a house with super protection , a ghost and two humans living within! Claire is "rescued" by one of the humans and the "adventure" begins. by Penny Cunningham
