This Just Wasn't For Me
I wanted to like this, and I thought I would, but it just didn't grab me. I wasn't a fan of this world, where magic is almost like electricity, it's pumped through the city in pipes and can be accessed by anyone. I feel like I have a hard time getting into books where magic and such is known by everyone.
Most of the book is from Allie's prospective, but there are a few bits from another character's POV which I wasn't much of a fan of. I ended up reading about half way or more of the book, but then skimmed the last bit. I didn't have a problem with the characters or the overall general plot, that someone has framed Allie for murder, but this world was not one I wanted to be part of.
Although this wasn't really for me, I would recommend to those who like UF that centers around magic and to fans of Three Days Till Dead by Kelly Meding as it has a similar feel to it. by Rebs R
