    Patra I love this book, different from the show but its amazing! I don't think people should be comparing it to Twilight and saying it's a copy because this book was first published in 1991. by Patra

    Lauri i found a startling amount of similarities between the vampire diaries and twilight but the vampire diares was compelling it was a good story. I'll be reading the rest of the series.
    BUT i checked out the Show.....Not good, Its not anything like the book.

    Darcy This book or books!
    Are so amazing... easy to read, it keeps you on your toes and never gives you a chance to stop guessing. Plus there are no unnecessary chapters in the book which you may find in others books.

    Also I would say these books may be called a copy of the series twilight books but the vampire dairies were written years and years before the author even brought out twilight.

    But yes if anyone likes cute vampire guys at a high school then I'd say give it a goo!
