  • Great historical fiction5

David and Kate Cook I had never heard of this series prior to the middle of 2010 but once I discovered the first book I was hooked. I'd purchased all of the series before finishing the first book...I was that sure I would like them all and now I'm almost finished number 4, Drums of Autumn. A great saga and though I'm not usually a romance reader, I found the historical side of it more than enough to keep me interested. by David and Kate Cook

Elizabeth Goodman Well here it is 2010 and I have just started the series from Diana Gabaldon.
A fantastic story of love and life with two very different men in two different worlds.
A great read. Try it. by Elizabeth Goodman

    Cross Stitch by Diana Gabaldon5

Penny Cunningham I absolutly LOVED this book and can't rate it highly enough. Its about Claire a woman that "stumbles" across some standing stones in the Scotland of 1945, which take her back in time to Scotland of 1743. It's the story of her adventures with Jamie a young Scot who she is "forced" to marry. It is extremely well written and I defy anyone who picks it up to say they haven'y enjoyed it!! There are a further 5 books about Jamie and Claire and a new one due out this October (2009). And I cant wait!!!!
This series of books has to be my number one favourite of all time! by Penny Cunningham
