Reviews for A Study in Scarlet
Enthrallingly witty and sharp-minded
This was the first Sherlock Holmes book I ever bought or read, and it is the most perfect introduction to your life long love of Holmes. This editions is very beautiful, with a matt cover and the luxurious scarlet spine typical to Vintage Classics. Also, it includes the short story, A Scandal in Bohemia, which is short, snappy, witty and imensely entertaining. The is a great story that young and old alike will find captivating, clever and heartwarming. Sherlock Holmes is much the simplest yet most enthrallingly witty and sharp-minded protagonist ever created, and he is a delight to read about. by Lyndel Hadley
