  • The most exhilarating book club you'll ever encounter...4

    Josip Malenica Pearl took a historic setting and hit a refresh button on it. That way he gave a real sense of reality to the story and at the same time infused so much fun and fresh ideas into The Dante Club.

    It may start out slow but by the third of the book the pages start turning by themselves. But not only is the whodunnit part great, the whole backdrop of the story (first mulatto officer, the crookedness of the police and the detectives, post-wartime consequences, scholar wars...) is picturesque and adds a lot to the whole experience while reading.

    For anyone who enjoys a good mystery novel, The Dante Club by Josip Malenica
