    Oh, and if you don't have a For Dummies book, you can always mock-up your own book cover and send in a photo of that...

      My 12 year old daughter and I searched the world, not just Australia for her anime books. We searched ebay and all else and then WE FOUND THE BOOK DEPOSITORY. WOW!       I just discovered this site today and have already placed an order plus filled my wishlist! If one wants an original edition of a book in Slovakia, the price is often twice as high or buying through Amazon is pretty much the same, but The Book Depository is amazing, perfect!!       I'm with Nobby on this - I was under the impression that you had to actually enter the competition to have a chance of winning it, not grovel and plead on this page. As for the 70 year old man with three kids and the man from Cardiff - why are they more deserving than anyone else? By the way, I am the father of 15 children, we have never had a TV to sell and we live in a shoe - a big one - and eat scraps from the local restaurant, where I work a 30 hour day, trying to earn enough to feed my 21 children. We don't have electricity so couldn't power the netbook if we won it. I would have to sell it to buy my 32 children a shoe each. I am using the computer at my work to leave this message but I have to go now so my 43 children aren't on their own for too long.

      I am a single and picturesquely frail single mother of 12,who's only income is selling small bags of bird seed on the streets of London Town in winter.Everyone I have ever spoken to assured me that bringing up children was really cheap,so it came as a huge surprise to find that it's not! As you can imagine,having the Toshiba Netbook would change my life, so please can I have it without actually having to go to the bother of entering the competition? I also think The Book Depository is simply the best! ps. I also have a litter of tiny kittens that I will probably have to drown because I have no money and it didn't occur to me that they would need food. The Toshiba Netbook would enable me to write and sell my memoirs so I could then afford to keep all of them (in traditional woven willow baskets)

      the way your layout when a search has been performed , is brilliant search either name or isbn is cool, but i do not like to creep , there is room for improvement there always is , i have come to your site to see if cheaper than your rivals, you do not even have the book., i know you cannot stock all. and your lead time for delivery is slow. and your packaging needs to be far improved, i like my books to arrive mint, the last to from you , were not. so your web site gets an 8/10, stock 6/10 , packaging 4/10. thanks lee

      I have bought books from bookdepository because of the cheap price, free shipping and how easy and reliable you are. I have also recommended your services to other people and do now some of my friends who have used your shop after that. Most of the books I bought are from you or from Amazon, if you don't have it I can always see the price it's on sale on Amazon also with your service. Currently I don't have laptop and I would really need one as I'm a student at writing and searching information would be lot easier to do with this.

      User friendly, informative, friendly support if required, and free delivery to wherever I want to send a book! What more could I ask for? Well, my own computer access on the move would be fab! I have all the time whilst in transit to think about all the books I'd like to buy and no pc access. When I am at home or at work I have too much to do, I end up making mad dashes to the high street to get books during my lunch hour instead. Not ideal and much more expensive!

      I agree - this is one of the best sites that's ever been recommended to me (along with librarything.com). The only improvement I'd LOVE to see would be for you to offer gift certificates so I can use them for gifts for friends so they can choose their own books.       After trying various sites, someone recommended the book depository. It is the best book site, fast reliable, cheap, what more could you ask for. I recommend it to everyone I talk to.

      If I need a book I only think of The Book Depository now, I used to use several other sources but for various reasons they all let me down. And living here in France it's important to both my wife and my self to have good reliable access to a good book shop. The only thing we miss in the UK. Please keep up the good work, for us and our friends out here that we have told about The Book Depository.
