My kids adore this series of books! They both re-read them regularly after their school reading is done! They take the books with them on sleep-overs and camping trips. They recommend them to their friends and talk about them with their teachers. As their parents we love seeing our children so immersed in the wonderful stories that Jeff Kinney has created.

Noticing how everyone is talking about their children and grandchildren here.. I am not embarrassed to admit though that I am in my 20s and love reading the Wimpy Kids series :) I have every book that's been released so far, except for the hardcover version of the DIY diary. I am someone who has pretty much exhausted the whole Jane Austen and Bronte sisters collections, but these WK books, together with cartoons, are sooo funny and appeal to the kid in me.

My son was a very reluctant reader and as a teacher I searched and searched for that one book which would grab his interest enough to make him want to read. I bought him the first Diary of a Wimpy kid book and from the time that he started reading it he was hooked. Luckily the second book in the series had already been released and so I was able to get that and keep the interest going. He now reads all of the time and is eagerly awaiting the release of the 6th book. He would really love this signed set and so would I as we could treasure it and remember that it was this series that gave him the "reading bug."

I am ateacher-librarian in a school with a lot of reluctant readers with literacy problems. Initially I bought 4 or 5 Wimpy Kid books, but I had to order 5-6 copies of each title because they were never on the shelf and each book was reserved by about 10 students. They love these books. Some will read nothing else. Well done, Jeff Kinney.
