Reviews for The World According to Clarkson
Why so good?
Clarkson pisses me off and I don't really like cars. I don't watch his show and I don't agree with many of his opinions. But he's a top writer and I was amused throughout. He can go on a bit but it's all entertaining. I wish there had been more to read but we can't have everything. by Tom Swade

Shouldn't have really liked this!
"Now, I'll get drummed out of the Brownies for this - Clarkson hates bikers apparently - but I really enjoyed this book. I've only deducted one star because on a recent TV program I saw him get too excited over the collective speeches of Thatcher! I know that's not fair in a book review but as Clarkson would say: tough, get over it.
It's an idea book for those moments when you don't want anything heavy. And perhaps those moments, like on an aeroplane (when you think you can concentrate but can't), when all you can do is maintain absorbtion for 10 minutes at time.
It's basically a collection of his newspaper columns from The Sunday Times. With 81 articles I reckon I've saved myself a few bob as well. Unless there is anything else in TST worth reading?" by a Book Depository customer
