  • Wonderful Story5

Leanne Lingwood My summary of the book - As Poppy is trying to recover something she ends up meeting Harry and her life changes forever as Harry decides he wants her and nothing will stop him. Things spiral out of Poppy's control and soon captured into Harry's web.

Thoughts on the characters - Poppy is a very interesting amusing character, she is very intelligent, loving and stubborn, which makes it difficult for her to find a husband so she feels it deeply when Michael breaks it off because she thought he was the one. When she ends up with Harry she is determined to make him work hard for her affection.
Harry is very arrogant and thinks he can get what he wants and unfortunately he can because he is that powerful. So when he sets his sights on Poppy she has no chance of escaping him. I like him as a character because he is what he says he is and doesn't hide it. When Poppy slowly works her way into him he does change for a more caring man and realises there is more, he just needs to trust other people.

Thoughts on the writing style - Easy to read and very gripping.

Overall thoughts - I loved it. The interactions between the pair is brilliant as Poppy is determined that he regrets ruining her life but Harry just doesn't care as he has got what he wanted. Very passionate and loving and you just get swept off your feet as you read the story. by Leanne Lingwood

A great read but not as good as book 1 and 24

maureen Poppy Hathaway is happy with her lot in life and is nearly engaged to a young lord, but as the family reside for the Season at the Rutledge Hotel in London ,Poppy bumps into Harry Ruthledge the mysterious owner of the hotel.
Harry wants Poppy for himself and plays dirty to get her, after destroying her romance with her young lord Harry persuades poppy to marry him.Needless to say Poppy finds out about his trickery and her world collapses.
I liked this book there are funny bits and of course lots of interaction with the other Hathaways. It took me a while to warm up to Harry not my favourite kleypas hero. All in all a worthwhile read by maureen
