Great military scifi
Loved this book and am on my third reading in less than 3 months. The story is strong and structured enough that there is no filler fluff as in complicated romantic relationships and each scene has a point to further the basic story line. The feel of the military command structure is realistic without anyone being overly technical and the main character Ia has from the beginning a very clear idea of what she has to do and achieve , it will be interesting to see in the next book how some of the things that were set up in this chronicle play out especially the introduction of the rest of her family and the chance meetings that she was arranging by remote letters. All in all I loved this book and coming from reading Ms Johnsons other titles it was a refreshing and delightful change - and they were good too in their own genre .Highly recommended by Eye Spy Books

A story about a strong gutsy girl/woman who has a visions of the future and directs her life to ensure the best and only version comes true
Jean Johnson has excelled, she takes you from boot camp to war and you live the story
Certainly comparable to Authors: Elizabeth Moon & Anne McCaffery in the depth of the story and characters
Highly recommended for those who enjoy this Genre by Alistair
