  This book by John Cowie presents the unique theory that the 'missing link' in our evolution was due to the arrival of an alien race some 13,000 years ago that bred with, or somehow implanted its genetic material and educated our **** sapiens ancestors. As per Darwin's theory, those **** sapiens with the Alien Visitor gene had a significant advantage - resulting in the human race. The book argues that an Alien Visitor founded our earliest civilisations.
  
  Our incredible legacy from this extra-terrestrial ancestor is cleverly explored in relation to the evolution of the computer and the rapidly expanding information superhighway.
  
  The book provides a feasible arguement that the arrival of the Alien Visitor advanced our evolution by millions of years. Without this, we could still be slowly travelling along the evolutionary timeline, developing our intelligence as we struggle to survive. Our skills today would probably be similar to those our ancestors held in the Dark Ages. Or worse, we could be extinct along with many other species of ape. by Silbury
