Sign and the Seal
"This is one of the best pieces of journalistic research ever. The author takes us on a journey to Ethiopia, Egypt and the bible in his quest for the answer to the question; is this the real Ark of The Covenant? The book was praised in it's time by many experts from diverse areas of history and nominated for several prizes. It is up to the reader to draw rgeir own conclusions from some very convincing evidence. Those who doubt the authors' tale should remember that during the famine in Ethiopia the Israeli goverment air lifted the Falasha from the area and gave them homes in Israel, although some had to be left behind to guard the Ark; this kind of recognition cannot go unheeded-the Falasha are recognised as the guardians of the Ark and a lost tribe of Israel.
