Full description for Sanditon
This is a completed version of the unfinished masterpiece, true to Jane Austin's classic style. Jane Austen died before she could finish "Sanditon", leaving a novel with all the classic Austen elements including setting, characters and plot. This book includes Austen's original half plus an original completion of the novel. In "Sanditon", Austen explored her interest in the verbal construction of a society through a town - and a set of families. It explores how the inhabitants of the town Sanditon (based on Eastbourne) must create the town within their own circle of intimate acquaintances before it may be appreciated and known to the rest of the world. From these conversations amongst intimates, 'Sanditon"s fame spreads through letters and by word of mouth.
