Excelent study book, Poor reference book
I won't tell You that this is the best, most comprehensive pharmacology book on market today because plainly it is not. But I can tell You that if you can afford only one book and you actually planning on learning from it this book represents the pinnacle of current possibilities. It offers just enough information for thorough understanding of problems yet it does not bury You with tons of "in apprehensible" data. Excellent language of the authors makes reading this book simply a joy. You are bound to add few informations here and there but this book will get you through your pharmacology exam just fine. If you are bookworm and you need to know every detail then you are probably better of with Goodman Gilman's pharmacology but for the rest of us this is the optimal choice. by Vallandur
