A feast for the eyes and the brain.
This would have to be the best instructional book on painting flowers in watercolours that is available. What a feast for the eyes it is too. The artist holds nothing back. All her little secrets are revealed in clear, concise text and beautifully illustrated. Not the thickest book around at just 96 pages, but they are just crammed full of knowledge and inspiration.
A really wonderful book, as is the thicker companion volume " Janet Whittle's Watercolour Flowers", which elaborates further on the methods shown and described in "Painting Flowers and Plants". The author is a natural teacher and a talented artist. Buy both books. You will be blown away. by D. McDonell
