Reviews for Not a Fan
Becoming a Fan-ship or Son-ship.
Kyle idleman agitates a reflective topic in Not a Fan. He succinctly starts off this conversation with a reminder about why we need to carry out a re-examination of our spiritual lives. With stories from various people who once saw and conducted their relationship with the Lord from a platonic perspective. Kyle elicits the contrasting difference to other believers who have had to renounce their "fan-ship" status in other to go deeper with the Lord, to become true worshipers and followers.
Meanwhile, there's the gym-rat that'd painstakingly burn to get their physique into perfection, and the obsessed erudite that'd blindly try to dispute the existence of God. Ironically also is the spectating believer unsure whether to go all out for God or not. At some point everyone will either come to terms with the fact that they'd have no choice to either remain a non-committed fan or a devotee of somebody, something,or to a place.
Not a Fan will definitely stir any "real"believer to pause, reflect and make adjustment about their spiritual walk.
A thought-provoking resource for anyone hungry for God. by Olugbenga Emmanuel Omogbejaunder review
