Reviews for The Mystery of the Yellow Room

Write a review
  • Brilliant crime novel.4

Ariel Armarego-Marriott With a crime very similar to that of Allan Poe's 'Murder in the Rue Morgue', Leroux provides the mystery of an assassination attempt within an hermetically sealed room and an assassin who proves more than once his ability to vanish from under the noses of the detectives. In this novel Leroux introduces the young Joseph Rouletabille, almost a precurser to Tintin, with the brains and deductive reasoning of Sherlock Holmes.
In all, a thoroughly enjoyable read that I couldn't put down. by Ariel Armarego-Marriott
