  I just read the last page of My Story Can Beat Up Your Story. This is a book full of passion and hard-nosed tough love. After years of writing award winning shorts I turned to my first feature and felt stumped at how to run a marathon when I'd only trained in sprints. I'm now revising my act structure using the principles in the book and taking up Jeffrey Schechter's one year writing challenge - to write one original spec screenplay, one original half-hour tv pilot, one one-hour drama writing sample and one half-hour family comedy script. I recommend this book - it will make you feel like someone's in your corner. by Katrina Graham
