Good, but not great
I ordered this book on pre-order, as I had really enjoyed the author's first book "Knitalong: Celebrating the Tradition of Knitting Together". Unfortunately this book isn't as good as the first. It has a very interesting premise in that it tells stories of knitting and family history of featured knitters/designers. It falls short, however, of really providing a good read. The writing doesn't draw you in, and the stories seem to be over just as they begin. Some of the knitting patterns look good, and it's not a bad book - it's just not as good as the previous one by the same author. by Merinda
