  I loved this book. It was recommended to me by a frind and it was one of those books that I couldn't put down. I took every opportunity to read it, staying up until 3:30am one night but still not late enough to finish it. Great story that brings you back to the horrors of the 2nd world war, but great mix of characters and movement of people between the 1940s and today, intertwined with several love stories. by Deirdre Kiely
