Long .. and oh so ......!2

Susan Miller After waiting for so many years, and having enjoyed the others immensely, I was only too happy to get my hands on this the latest/last book in the series - as was my husband.

Unfortunately, I could have waited longer until this book had been cut down to size and a real 'story' put into it! It goes on, and on, and on... and .. well you get the picture about every single cave that Ayla visits in her quest to become zelandonii. She and Jondalar and Wolf the dog meet new people who live near each cave, and every single time we go through the 'oooh we are frightened/awed etc of this woman who controls a wolf' and also 'oh what a strange accent she has, she must be from far away'... it got SO boring, so old. And having to read over and over their long full clan names in meetings with other must have filled at least an 1/8th of the book!

Disappointed doesn't cover it. by Susan Miller
