Except the Bible, The Hole in Our Gospel is one of the greatest books in my life. Richard Stearns, current CEO for World Vision US tells us his own testimonial on how Jesus Christ wanted him to love, to help and to spread gospel to those unfortunate children.
Rich Stearns really is doing what Jesus Christ wants us to do. To love God and to love our neighbors. He faced a life decision when he was a CEO for one famous company called Lenox. God called him to be CEO for World Vision US on 1998. He had to sell his Jaguar, his big house, his lands, etc in order to serve God. He walks the walk rather than talks the talk.
He tells us that there is a big hole in our gospel. We as Christians know what happen to those children in Africa, but we keep going to church without doing anything, we just close our eyes and ears and ignore them.
