Reviews for God's Own Country
Read over a weekend as I couldn't put it down for long
This was an excellent shortish book. Ross Raisin captures what it might be like to have a mind that hasn't made up it's mind yet (if that makes sense!) Sam Marsdyke is at first a sad and lonely character, apparently through no fault of his own - however as I read on, I began to have doubts, although was never quite able to decide. He keeps you thinking all the way through. It seemed scarily accurate to me - I will be interested to read his next book and hope that it doesn't disappoint. by Fran Wolfman
