    Murdoch a Forbearer Vampire once a warlord, a ladies' man has lost interest in his past lifes indulgences but he finds himself attracted to his new "prey", a Valkyrie. When she is attacked by a group of Icere an unbearable instinct to protect her overwhelms him followed by his heart thundering back to life- for this female? And why does she hurt when touched?

    Daniela is Valkyrie Ice maiden and the rightful Icere Queen who has been living a lonely existence. After a long time eluding the kings' men, they finally find her and for some reason she believes the vampire before her could save her.

    Lord Jadian the Cold watches the scene from far...

    As Murdoch nursed her he contemplated a future with his bride and decided it will be a living hell. He will be frozen in agony as it is now; overwhelmed with lust for her body and blood, both which she can't sate.

    Later, Daniela wakes up to a startling comprehension; she had blooded Murdoch but instead of killing him or running like any sane Valkyrie would do, she wants to ease him. Their exchange of pleasure quickly turns into a heated argument and he chases her off before he lost control and bite her. And now that Murdoch has had his first release from his bride, he can move on to other women.

    "I'm the Valkyrie who most wants to be held - And I never can be."

    Murdoch couldn't keep Daniela off his mind and when around her, he can't help being possessive and jealous.

    "Valkyrie, I've never been more at odds with myself in my entire existence!"

    When Murdoch takes Daniela to his hunting lodge in Siberia, she decides that it's the best place for her to be safe from the Icere. She somewhat manipulates Murdoch into letting her stay alone there. Daniela has made herself at home, turning it into an Iceland adorned with her symbols engravings. During a near death experience, Murdoch realizes that he never want another but Daniela and they decided to try living together to see where it leads. Their time together were lovely and inventive, still with tension building.

    Jadian kills King Sigmund. Meanwhile, Murdoch and his brother had found their fallen brother and began to work on his recovery-hopefully. When the pressure breaks, they get into a fight. A while later, Daniela is approached by Jadian who claims that he's killed Sigmund and wants he her to claim her crown. When Murdoch has finally realized that he had fallen in love with Daniela, he spots her kissing another and he lost his restrain, taking her neck. He was trapped in ice as Jadian carried her away- from him. And traces into another; ending up locked in prison.

    Daniela has gotten home at last and claimed her Queendom but she is not content. Having found a way their skin could touch Murdoch decides to go to Icergard....

    Untouchable is a sweet love story and I love the placing of these two characters as pairs, and the progress of their love and Murdochs character. The drawbacks were the lack of suspense element plus the climax felt inadequate and I really miss my adventure ;) It was nice to see how the story of the Wroth brothers turned out though. This is definitely not Kresleys best but worth the read.

    Aleaha Love can change her appearance and identity with just skin contact and is now Macy Briggs an AIR agent. She passed every test but her first mission takes an unexpected turn.

    Breean Nu is the leader of the Rakan army, a warlord having left his plagued planet. On Earth he stumbles upon a female that arouses him but when he attempts to dominate her she reveals a peculiar talent that leaves him intrigued.

    As Aleaha tries to save her captured fellow agents from the Rakans, she encounters the leader who desires her and seems to know of her true face. Worse, she is tempted to submit to his hunger.

    Breean eventually captures Aleaha but he intends to not bed her until she begs for it. When he discovers that the Schon intend to come to Earth, he decides to defend their new home and for that he must work with the AIA using the captured agents as leverage. Aleahas on the other hand is determined to save her friends. Her resolve falters; her desire for Breean winning and Breean discovers something about her and seeks to help her. Aleaha had to take drastic actions against Breean to rescue her friends but her plan fails when Breean stops her intending teach her a lesson. The fact that they had fallen in love with each other added more tension to their situation. As she feared, the AIA find them

    I'm disappointed with this story. It was dragging with an abrupt climax. There weren't enough space for character development. I do appreciate the scene where Aleaha attempts to save her friends; intense and well played. So, far I've only read two of Genas books, one from her LOTU and both failed to impress but I'm willing to try another considering the hype around the author though I doubt it will be an Alien Huntress novel; guess Aliens are not my thing... by Syamanthra
