Reviews for Death Note: v. 1, 13
Great series!
Obviously this boxset is in english. I had no problem with the velcro, but a corner of the display box was slightly crushed (without damaging the books inside) when it arrived to its Aussie destination. This series isn't your typical action-packed manga; it's a detective/serial-killer story of cat & mouse. Its very well written, 3-times more words compared to the average manga graphic novel. I highly recommend 'reading' this set to fully appreciate the author's original flavour; rather than watching the popular anime/movies that has been dumbed-down to suit the couch-potato. The covers of these books is made of a cheaper cardboard (compared to other manga I've brought) therefore if you leave one laying around/outside its box; it's more prone to curling up in moist weather. I purchased this in 19July11 for $65.39AUD. We're talking about 12 books of great reading, then there's the bonus other x2 books which is fan crap; still great value overall. by John Lukaszewicz
English?
Just asking, are these books in English or Japanese? I don't want to end up with a Japanese book by Katie
