  What a FANTASTIC book for beginner chess players! I got this book after reading good reviews elsewhere that it was the perfect book for people new to chess. I have to agree it is! The information is released to you slowly over the course of the book and there is plenty of examples and exercises to do throughout the chapters and at the end of the chapters to reinforce what you have learned. If you are looking for a book that will take you through the basics of the game and through the tactics and strategies of what it takes to become a winning chess player then this book is for you. I only started playing about a month ago and can already beat friends and family quite easily after reading this book. I really can't recommend it enough. by Daniel Booth
