Reviews for The Ballad of the Sad Cafe
A brilliant piece of work.
This has instantly become a favourite book of mine. The main story is rich and colourful and the characters are so well formed. What I like about the other short stories in this book is that there are so many unanswered questions and incomplete characters. Carson leaves it up to the readers imagination in such a creative way that is inspiring. I would recommend budding writers to read this book as a way to learn that not every piece of text can become a book but that does not detract from power the written word has on the reader. by Samantha Wahrenberger
