Essential survival book
The first half of this book is about survival psychology and physiology, mostly regarding regulating your core body temperature to avoid the detrimental and often fatal effects of exposure, specifically hyperthermia and hypothermia. Also goes into hydration and acclimatisation. Cody is clearly knowledgeable on the subject and comes across rather scientific and delves into the synthesis of ATP, storage of glycogen & insulating properties of nylon vs polyester but there are no citations so we just have to trust his credibility. More than you ever wanted to know on the subject, but it's what you need to know. by Nathanael Boehm
